Xian Tian Hou Ku(先甜后苦)

I heard of this phrase a long time back when i was in my secondary school days. My mum told me about it and told me that i better not have this situation when i grow older. Im starting to feel all these things that my parents taught me when i was younger coming back to me now.

Now back to Xian Tian Hou Ku(先甜后苦). The meaning of this word is to have sweetness first and then suffer later on. I played hard during my whole of secondary life. didnt really study at all in school or at home. I didnt take A-Maths and wasted an extra year in my secondary days. I didnt feel there was anything wrong with that till now. Im gonna take AS level next summer and i feel that my foundation for maths is too 'shallow'. Thats because i didnt take A-Maths during my secondary school and now i am struggling with my maths.

I didnt really expect things would turn out like that and i didnt really think i needed A-maths when i was younger. Now all i have to do now is to study extra hard to prevent the same scenario from happening again next summer. Hopefully, ill get my BBBs in AS Level to get to the univeristy i want and to spend my 4 years there with my beloved girlfriend(wife then) :)

My girlfriend and i both believe that i would be xian ku hou tian next summer. :) sleeep now bye.
