Alright, i went out with darling today as she went to make pizza with her school kids. She made one for me but i didn't eat it as it was cold already so ill have it as lunch tmr. Walked around carrefour, bought some tidbits to eat while I'm studying and we went home.





I'm moving to a new estate really soon. Maybe before we go back to Singapore. We'll be looking at new houses this weekend but it seems that my parents already have a estate in mind, so i guess, ill be moving there really soon. Well, the reason my parents are terminating the contract and moving early is because the security guards are telling everyone my dog bites. Even the water delivery man who isn't a worker here knows about it. And today, i was outside my estate and i flagged down a taxi and the security guard from my estate just simply shouted across the road to ask for the taxi. The taxi just drove off and went into my estate. WTH. Maybe the taxi driver is thinking those angmohs from my estate would go to further places than an Asian would go.





I feel this is a problem that is happening not only in China but all around the world. Asians seems to feel inferior to the Westerners. The Westerners would look down on Asians and Westerners always get more benefits than Asians. I thought it would happen in an international school. Teachers would be bias against Asian students and English would always get more benefits although, they pay the same amount of school fee to the school. I talked to my Dad about this problem and he said even he would get the same treatment in his company. The westerners always get better treatment and Asians get looked down upon. Even if, my Dad holds a bigger position than some of the Westerners, the Chinese do not respect my Dad as much they respect the Westerners. Some people just need to change this mindset that ANGMOHS are richer than Asians and they are always better than Asians. I saw the news yesterday that an Chinese scored full marks in the American SAT. Wow, I think hes the first guy to ever score full marks in SAT. Its so hard and English isn't even their native language. SEE! Asians are much smarter than Westerners. BTW, from my experience, most westerners, are so lousy in their Maths. Theres a English guy in my old school who couldn't even do simple maths sum like 30% x 1500= ??? I did Business Studies and occasionally, we need to do maths sum like these and both the teacher and the student cant do these much. Surprise isn't it. Even teachers cant do them. SO, if you have this mindset that Westerners are much better than Asians, CHANGE YOUR MINDSET. :)





Oh yeah, and Westerners in Shanghai would feel they're in heaven. They could ride motorbikes around Shanghai even without a plate and even license. I'm persuading my parents to get me a bike with real licsense plate and i could drive it into the central district. If they allow to buy me one, i would get a bike similar to the one below. Of course it must be new and nicer. I could only find this picture as I dont know what it is called. The genuine license plate would cost 50,000RMB, S$10,000 as i could sell it in the future. It could be converted into a car plate's license and its something like COE in Singapore. And the bike would cost around 20,000RMB.








Well, I used to own a bike like this but now its gone. :( I bought it second hand and the license plate isnt geniune. Well, its a real deal, as in not a fake motorbike, it could go up to 120km/hr but the fastest i went was 80km/hr as I didnt have my helmet on and my eyes hurt when the wind blew against my face. And obviously, i still wanted my life.

LOL. i received this email from my dad this morning and got reminded about the incident that happened on saturday while i was out with darling. Currently Shanghai is changing the gas to natural gas which i dont really know the difference. Anyway, the workers wanted to come to work on the pipes in my house's backyard. My parents told the workers not to come as they're going out and its pretty obvious its private property and when the owner tells the workers NOT to come, they dont. My parents returned from lunch and let the dogs out to the garden to pee and my German Shepard pounched on one of the workers and bit his back. LOL. My dog never bit anyone before and its quite surprising so my dad said Tiny(my dog's name) has grown up. The worker wanted compensation and my dad said he would pay for medical fees and it was 300RMB. The worker asked for medical fees(2500) and a month's pay as he claimed that he cant work. It totalled up to 4000RMB. Of course, my dad wouldnt pay him so much and the mangement threatened to call up the police which they eventually did. The mangement claimed to the police that the worker didn't come into my house and the garden wasn't ours. They did issue a letter to every resident that we can't go into people's garden without the owner's permission. The worker even threatened to see my dad in court when my dad refused to pay the amount. LOL. My dad got escorted to the police station in a police car and finally agreed to pay 1700RMB. My dad said its the first time he sat in a police car in 50 years of his life. hahahahaha. So my dad is writing in to the head office of my estate's mangement and we're moving out this summer.

Went fishing again with the 'pro uncles' today. I thought fishing means just throwing the bait into the lake and wait for fishes to come. The uncle brought a bag of 'bait' and he filled a can with the 'bait' and lowered it into the water. Then he told me its something to attract the fishes. You have to fry wheat, rice wine and blah blah blah.. I don't really know what the ingredients are as hes speaking in shanghai dialect. He helped us put the earthworm onto the hook and we started to wait. Waited soooo long and finally felt something. I pulled it up and it was a LOBSTER. :P a small one infact.












hehe. Just caught a lobster and no fishes. LOL. The uncle said lobsters are much harder to catch. Just i just skipped a step, no fishes but a lobster. The uncles even caught a jia yu(its something like a turtle), its quite big though. Guess ill catch one someday. :) Btw, fishing is so tired, i went home yesterday and collapsed on the bed and slept till now.

Promised to study this week so ill start studying today. :P Darling, my week starts on a mondayyy. :P

FISHING~

Alright. I went fishing today but only after going so much yuan wang lu. We went to a place recommended by darling's school bus driver and its so far from the city area. Its such a different experience. The place looks so 'not shanghai'. Well, we finally reached the destination after a hard time waiting for a taxi. The place is like a farm where they grow vegetables and theres a small pond in the middle of no where. Saw a few people fishing with their own fishing rods. DAMN. Thats when we start to suspect we have to bring our own fishing rods. We asked one of the uncles there and yes fuck, we have to bring our own fishing rods. We looked at the people fish for a bit and it started to rain so we have to go. Walked quite a bit before we found a taxi and we decided to go singing. :( Yes i thought that was the end of fishing trip.

We decided to go a park behind darling's university to look at the fishing rods and I bought my OWN fishing rod. :P Bought some earthworms and went to the park to fish. It was almost 4.30 when we settled down fishing and the park closes at 6. Yes it was my first time fishing in a lake where there are trees around and when i threw my fishing rod out, i hit the tree. :P The fishing lines were caught by the tree brunches and i couldnt get it out. A kind man came over in a boat and offered to help me 'free' the lines. Before helping, he said, 'diao yu hai shi diao shu'. wtf. it was so embarrasing. i continued fishing and i thought i caught a fish and when i tried to pull it up, it was so fucking heavy. I thought it must be shark to be so fucking heavy. I pulled it up and.. no it wasn't a shoe, it was a fucking rubbish bag full of water in it. Sigh, yi chang huan xi yi chang kong. We dabao and went out of the park as it was closing empty handed. :(

Went back to the fishing shop and saw a shanghainese man buying loads of fishing bait and glowing lights. I asked him where to fish at night and he said its in the university. Darling studied there for 4 years and never realised people fishing inside the school. He gave us some tips and asked if we wanted to join him. We went with him and saw him with another friend fishing with those 'professional' fishing rods. The fishes they caught were so big and were 2-3kg. He invited us to fish with him but too bad, we threw the earthworms away and their baits wouldnt be suitable for my fishing rod. Looked at them fish for a while and we went to have our dinner.

The good thing is that he fishes there every weekend so i would go to fish with them tomorrow and they offered to give me some fishing lines that were more suitable. Hope i could learn something new from them tomorrow and go 'professional' like them some day. :)

Fuck LAR. I took the taxi home just now after sending darling home and i gave the driver a hundred dollar note. It was ￥23 and i got ￥77 change. When i reach home, i took another look at the 50 dollar note. It looks so strange. The color looks so dark and the quality of the paper is so different. I showed my dad and he said its fake cause he had the same experience before. A taxi driver gave it to him before. Damn. My dad asked me to give it to the Yang Rou Chuan man outside but darling said no. Haha. I think ill ask my driver to change it for me. :P

MOSQUITOES. DAMN. They mark the start of summer. :( Summer in Shanghai is so scary. The air is so hot. Even if you dont stand under the sun, you would still sweat. Imagine how hot it is. Mosquitoes and houseflies are everywhere. I went to back to singapore for 2 weeks and went to xiamen 3 weeks last summer and stayed home the rest of the summer last year. I think ill just do the same this year. Hide in my air-conditioned room all day or go out with darling. :)

Darling found another good place for fishing. Its 16rmb a kg for fishes you fish but its free if you dont catch any. Gonna get prepared to go out.

LOL. I was in the car a few days and my driver told me a new shocking traffic rule. No horns within the central area in Shanghai. I find it soooooooo funny but its actually good in a way. Some drivers here are so irritating that they horn at any small issue. But the bad thing is that i might get knocked down easier if they dont horn. LOL. My driver even told me that the police would use 'horn detectors' to track down drivers. Waste of resources....

I think we're going to fish at a park this weekend. :) HEHE. Reeve, I cant grow carrots for you but i can catch some fishes for you. :P

Business studies is overrrrrrrrrrrr. Ill have two weeks till the next exam. four more papers and im done with this yearrr. when i was on the way to school today, i was thinking what was i doing this whole year. It has been a year. I went back to school last september and went on random days. then my parents went to europe and i missed school all the while. after that i left BISS and spent the christmas in singapore. Started school again in january and then it was chinese new year. Holidays again and then i went back to school and it was the end of march so soon. Holidays once again after my birthday and then now here i am left with four more papers to go till the end of my year 12 education. Time flies so fast. Bu zhi bu jue de, wo you lao le yi sui. Whatever, gonna go enjoy my life for a for a few days before settling down to study once again.

PURE MATHS IS OVER. thank god. I think i did ok in the C1 but not C2. =( C2 is so freaking hard. I spent more time daydreaming than actually working on the paper cause i just cant do the questions. Im sorry darling :( I dont know whether its just me that think so or what. I left right after examinations and didnt talk to anyone except for my maths teacher who is bald now. He says its better to be bald for summer. LOL. maybe thats why scott chew had that hairstyle. I overheard another Korean saying that hes gonna fail both papers to the teacher. LOL. I thought all Koreans are fanatasic in Maths. Maybe hes an exception.

Business paper 1 tomorrow and Ill have another two weeks off exams. Think i would prepare for the papers much earlier this time round so that i wouldnt be so stressed up the last few days. Darling told me about a farm in SongJiang. Its cheap to rent a room overnight which includes lunch and dinner. Think we would go there sometime soon because i could FISH there. =P im so in love with fishing now though im not good at it. Practice makes perfect. :)

Im so in love with Shanghai now. YANG ROU CHUAN!!! Cant get it anywhere in Singapore. I could just walk out of my estate and get a xin jiang ren selling bbq stuff. Summer is coming so summer holidays are coming too! That means im going back to Singapore soon and then a holiday with darling to Shandong. :) 3 more weeks till all my exams are over!!

Exams are starting in an hour and a half and i am only only 7/8 prepared for it. Im taking two maths papers and i am only prepared for one and 3/4 for the other. I think ill need to retake it either in singapore or nov here. DAMN. I hate myself for not preparing for it earlier. It always happens to me. Im screwed. Maths is my weakest subject probably because of Ms Pok and all the maths teachers i ever came across.

I need to brush up on my Maths this summer!!! God bless me on all my examinations. I love you Jesus :) and darling.

20th May/5.20 5.20 means 我爱你. I miss darling so much. Well, i dont know why i thought of this song but its one of my favourite childhood tv shows. Darling told me about the farm in Songjiang and i think we would be going after my exams or maybe before my exams. Ive got 2 maths papers tomorrow and a business paper on tuesday and i would be free for 2 weeks till another papers kick in.

Ive been thinking what to do during my holidays since my computer broke down and i wouldnt be playing any computer games. Im thinking of getting a job but who would want someone who could only work a month. Gonna continue studying for now. Bye

Exams are just round the corner and i really need to start studying. Dont want to elaborate on what I've been doing this week. I've been having some misunderstandings with darling this week and i am really sorry about it. I know im in the wrong. I should have cared more for you and spent more time with you. Im sorry darling..

I want my normal life back and yes, it would be back. NO LATE NIGHTS, NO DAY-DREAMING,NO GAMES AND NO... *ahem* I want to meet darling every friday night and saturday like usual. Everything would be back to normal. I really need to concentrate on my studies this time round. Starting from today. Ill meet darling later tonight and tmr. Concentrate on my studies during weekdays and lead a normal and usual life. :)

I don't really know how to describe my feelings now. I'm so confused. After going through so much of life, i really wonder what i would if i could turn back time. Would i choose to try it or not? Had i gained life experience or had i just been silly? What exactly have i gained by trying it? Sometimes i feel some questions just don't have an answer to it. Or maybe i had gained something which i did not realise.

Well, everything is over la. I wouldn't ponder over it anymore. Its the past now and ill just let it go. I just want to apologise to darling because she gave up so many things for me. So many sleepless nights and so much time waiting for me. I'm sorry. I'm glad things are over and the urge of stupidity wouldn't come back to me anymore.

I know how much darling cares for me and how blessed i am to have her. Perhaps that's what i gained. Experience perhaps. Who knows.

what is happening to me? was it all an illusion or was it real? i cant believe it myself and no one could explain it. It seems so real to me but if i think twice, i cant even believe it. Sigh. Has it ruined my life? i cant believe all these are happening to me. Everything has changed. I just want my life back now. Hopefully everything would be fine soon. :(
